What we store about you, why we store it, and how to have it removed.
Primit is run by Primit Gifting, 1st Floor, 475, New GIDC, Old GIDC, Katargam, Surat, Gujarat 395008, India. We decide what this website stores about you and why, and we answer for it.
We do not ask for anything we do not need to sell you something and deliver it.
Your card, UPI or bank details. Payment happens inside Razorpay’s own checkout, and what reaches us is confirmation that a payment succeeded and a reference we can use to refund it. Your password is stored only as a one-way hash, so nobody at Primit can read it — including us.
Each of these does one job, and gets only the part of your data that job needs:
We do not sell your data, and we do not send you marketing you did not ask for. Every email we send is about an order you placed or a cart you left behind.
We set one cookie to keep you signed in and one to remember your cart when you are not signed in. If you order without an account, the cart cookie is also what lets the same browser open your order and pay for it. Neither can be read by another website and neither is used to follow you anywhere else. They are necessary for the shop to work.
We also use Google Analytics to understand which pages people find useful. It loads only if you accept it. If you decline, or ignore the banner, no analytics script is loaded at all — not a blocked one, not a silent one. You can change your mind at any time from the link in the footer.
Orders and invoices are kept for as long as Indian tax law requires. A cart you never turned into an order is deleted after thirty days if you were not signed in. Everything else stays until you ask us to remove it.
Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 you may ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and ask us to erase it. Write to support@primit.in and a person will answer.
We may have to keep records of completed orders even after an erasure request, because tax law requires it. We will tell you exactly what we kept and why.
